The reason we got into real estate in the first place was because we knew there was a better way to serve people trying to sell or buy a home… and decided to do something about it.

Our approach boils down to acting as a consultant, not as an agent.  Having spent years in consultative roles dealing with people and businesses throughout the world, we felt it really was a matter of applying the perspective on business we already held to a new industry   and in a different way from most other practitioners in the field.

This guiding concept, although simple to state, is far more difficult to live up to in the real world.  It is the fundamental difference between a real estate ‘agent’ and a ‘consultant’.  It involves moving away from a cookie-cutter approach to marketing and client service and actually determining the needs and desires of each individual client to implement the right strategy to meet their goals.  It is about minimizing risks and protecting our clients’ interests as we pilot them through what can be a complex and cumbersome process.  It is why we do what we do – and why we can pledge to abide by the following principles to each client we have the privilege to serve:

  • Ask the right questions and listen to the answers in order to understand our clients’ needs, first and foremost.

  • Respect our clients’ time and minimize the effort required of them by applying our knowledge, organizational skills, experience and resourcefulness.
